Larry Wayne Crocker, age 74, of Duchesne, passed away March 24, 2026, at his daughter’s home in Duchesne.
He was born February 27, 1952, in Dallas, Texas, to Oliver and Ernestine Henson Crocker.
Larry was a sheet metal fabricator and because of it, was known as “The Tin Man.”  He could make just about anything out of sheet metal, whether it was for work or simply a beautiful piece of art.  He lived the majority of his life in Texas.  Then 15 years ago, initially came to visit his daughter in Utah, but then never left because he was able to live the life he always wanted. He enjoyed fishing, scratching lotto tickets, collecting coins, metal detecting, and having his constant companions, his dogs, “JoJo” and “Sam” by his side...and the “occasional” drink.  He was a very good man and generous.
Larry is survived by his children, Sharon Crocker (Justin Schacht), Duchesne; Elizabeth Crocker (Matthew Kessler), Lakewood, CO; Christopher (Sarah) Crocker, Virginia Beach, VA; 5 grandchildren; siblings, Trannie McFarland, Belton, TX; Thomas Crocker, Dallas, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William, Francis, Earnest, & James Crocker; and a sister, Peggy Harris.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated.  The family will be taking the cremated remains back to Texas.
