Kent Elmer Denver

Kent Elmer Denver passed away on March 26, 2021 at the age of 75. Kent was born on June 10, 1945 to Norma Mae Larsen and Elmer Denver Jr. in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kent married Linda Ross on June 23, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple, they later divorced.

Kent was an avid outdoorsman and proficient athlete. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends camping and hunting, but he loved fishing most of all. We often found him with a fishing pole in one hand and a box of worms in the other. He instilled his love of the outdoors in his children and grandchildren.

Kent loved most sports. He played football at Snow College and coached many little league teams but his favorite sport was baseball. We spent many summer nights in the mountains or at the ballpark. We have all caught memories that we will never release because someone we love is now fishing in Heaven.

Kent is survived by his children: Michele Denver, Shaun (Cody) Denver, and Kristine (Matt) Gibson, his grandchildren: Kaylee Denver, Jadynn Gibson, Colton Denver, Carston Denver, and Kamri Gibson. Siblings: Charles "Smiley" (Margo) Denver, Gerrie (Elden) Buckalew, Susan Denver Gilbert, and Brad (Julie) Denver.

He is preceded in death by his parents Elmer Denver Jr. and Norma Mae Larsen and many other family members that he loved.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 12:00p.m. at the Roosevelt Memorial Park. Online condolences may be shared at www.AshleyValleyFuneralHome.com.
