Kenneth Ralphs

Kenneth William Ralphs, 87, of Altonah, Utah passed away on April 17, 2026 at the Beehive home in Naples.

Kenneth was born October 11, 1938, in Roosevelt, Utah to Dennie and Twila Ralphs. He married Elaine Williams on April 8, 1960, and they were sealed for eternity on March 13, 1974. 

Kenneth spent his early years on a farm in Clay Basin where they raised and hunted everything the family needed. He started milking cows when he was five years old and milked three cows both morning and night. Eventually their family moved to the town of Altonah. After graduating from high school, he attended Salt Lake Area Vocational School for two years. 

He began working various construction jobs, and in 1974 he and his brother-in-law took over the operations of his father's farm. Farming was hard work, that he loved, but it was not very profitable, so he spent many years working on construction projects as well as farming. One of his favorite things to do was herd cows to Swasey Hole and ride his horse into the high country. In 2001, he started selling pieces of his land and retiring. For several years, he and Elaine spent six months every year in Overton, Nevada until Kenneth had a stroke in 2021. 

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as scout master for many years. He had many stories to tell of adventures with the boys on campouts. Kenneth has been a great example of hard work and dedication. He passed along a love for country life, the mountains, hunting, fishing, and being together as a family. 

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Elaine Williams Ralphs; three children, Dennie, Kelly Whitlock (Brian), Toni Adams (Michael); grandchildren and their spouses, great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Altonah Cemetery.
