Kelly Floyd Faux, age 68, of Fruitland, passed away August 29, 2024, at his home.
He was born October 15, 1955, in Dugway, Utah, to Lawrence “Bush” and Donna Mae Sanborn Faux.
Kelly worked at the Kennecott Copper Mine in Utah for over 20 years before he retired from there. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, boating, riding ATVs, hunting, hiking, and doing anything outdoors. He tinkered on everything and was an excellent mechanic. In his younger days, he played drums in a band.
He was a great guy who was loved by all. It seemed that everywhere he went, everyone knew him. He helped anyone in need and would give the shirt off his back.
Kelly is survived by his children, Jeremy Faux, of Las Vegas, Nevada; Shelly Faux, Fruitland; grandchildren Dylan, Haley, Shaylee, and Koda Faux; and his mother, Donna McNaughton, of Roosevelt.
He was preceded in death by his father, “Bush” Faux.
Per his wishes, he was cremated and the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
