With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Keisha Jan Kuuipo' Olulani Kamai Rasmussen-Bethers on August 9, 2025. Keisha was 37 years old and left this world far too soon, surrounded by the love of family and friends.
Keisha was born on July 13, 1988, and from the very beginning, her radiant spirit could light up any room. She was a vibrant, fun-loving soul who lived life with laughter, sunshine, and deep compassion for others.
Keisha had a lifelong passion for the growth and development of children. She dedicated many years to working in daycare centers and later became a preschool teacher — a role that allowed her to share her kindness, patience, and joy with countless young lives. Her impact as an educator was profound and lasting, and her students — as well as their families — will remember her with gratitude and love.
Known for her carefree nature, infectious laugh, and signature tan, Keisha loved basking in the sun, floating on the lake, taking long naps, and spending time with her family. She found joy in simple moments and was the life of every family gathering. Whether she was conquering the ski slopes (or falling off the lifts), drawing silly unibrows on her siblings with permanent markers, or just being the goofy, lovable Keisha we all knew — she brought happiness wherever she went.
Her love for her children, nieces, and nephews was unmatched, and her absence leaves an irreplaceable hole in the hearts of all who loved her.
She is survived by her parents, David Rasmussen and Rolene Spaulding (Scott Spaulding); her children’s father, Brandon Bethers; and her beloved children, Emmy and Riggz Bethers. She also leaves behind her siblings: Rhett Rasmussen (Jolynn Rasmussen), Sarah Spaulding, JQ Spaulding (Kristina Spaulding), Kai Rasmussen (Derek Harris), Shazet Spaulding, Pua Thorlaksen (Connor Thorlaksen), Kable Spaulding (Kyrie Oldaker), and Makiea Spaulding (Riggs Blackburn), as well as many adoring nieces and nephews who were lucky enough to call her "Aunt Keish."
A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at the Hullinger Mortuary.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, August 30, at Stone Hollow in Vernal, Utah, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. All who knew and loved Keisha are welcome to attend.
Keisha’s light, laughter, and love will never be forgotten.
