Kathleen Hollobaugh “Kathy” Rasmussen, age 68, of Randlett, passed away on April 5, 2026 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah.
She was born on November 17, 1957, in Ogden, Utah, to Thelma Starkey and Enos Hollobaugh. She married Dennis Eugene Rasmussen on June 15, 1998, in Randlett, Utah Kathy loved her husband Dennis, her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. She took great pride in her yard, especially her roses. She liked to go to the lake and fish, and enjoyed camping. Listening to music was always a big hit. Her hobbies were crocheting and canvas painting. She loved to read books, especially by Stephen King and self-help books. Her career started with Stewart’s Care and Rehabilitation Center, where she was an LPN. She then went to the Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Sr. Villa, after Stewart’s was sold, she retired after many years of service helping patients. Kathy is survived by her husband, Dennis Rasmussen; children, Adam (Kim) Long, Vernal; Brandi (Terre) Roufs, Roosevelt; Micheal Long, Randlett; Brian (Marlee) Rasmussen, Roosevelt; and Desirae Clark, Randlett. She has 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and Enos Hollobaugh; step-father, Joe Arnold; brother-in-law, Ted Meyer; and son-in-law, Wade Shurtliff. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hullinger Mortuary. A viewing will be held from 9:30 - 10:45 AM. Burial will be in the Strawberry Cemetery.
