    Kathleen RoseMarie Wilkerson, age 67, of Roosevelt, passed away at her home on August 28, 2026.
    She was born December 22, 1958, in Fort Polk, Louisiana, to Joe and Lucinda Villapando.LaBatto.  She married Steed Wilkerson, her only love, on July 3, 1992.  He died July 7, 2024.
    Throughout her life, Kathleen was a hard worker who enjoyed caring for and serving others. She worked as a laundry service technician, as a prep worker at M&M Truck Stop, and as a private caregiver for many people. She also enjoyed spending time with children while serving as a classroom grandparent in the local schools.
    Kathleen was friendly to everyone she met and was known for her happy disposition and outgoing, social personality. She had a special love for animals, particularly stray dogs, and was always willing to bring home one more that needed a place to belong.
    She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed attending church and serving others.
    Kathleen will be remembered for her friendly nature, caring heart, love of animals, and the kindness she showed to those around her.
    She is survived by her sister, Cindy (James) Witten, of Fairfield, California; nieces, Mariposa (Zack) McCullough and her two children; Julie Wilkerson, and Tammy Wilkerson, and their families.
    She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Steed; a niece, Marguerite Levesque; an infant brother, John Allen; her parents; and her grandparents that helped raise her, Benjamin & Tiva Villapando.
    Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt Central Park Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 32 S State Street, Roosevelt, UT.   There will be a viewing at the church from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
    Following the service, per her wishes, she will be cremated and the cremated remains buried in the Myton Cemetery.
