Joshua David Conetah, 43 years old, passed away from a short illness at the U of U Hospital, Salt Lake City, UT on Monday February 23, 2026.
Joshua was born to Bradley Conetah and Vida Rose Premo on January 7, 1983 in Roosevelt, UT.
He attended Headstart and Elementary School in Elko, NV and attended high School at the Chemewa Indian School in Salam, OR. He was on the football and wrestling teams while attending Chemawa Indian School and graduated May 2002
Joshua attended the Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center in Reno, NV and received his certificate as a Security Officer. He had worked at various casinos in Reno and Elko, NV.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, walking in the hills, video games, loved collecting rocks and enjoyed being with his nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Survivors are siblings, Thomas Conetah of Pocatello, ID; Jarred Conetah (Katrina) of Elko, NV; and Julie Conetah (Louis) of Stockton, CA; uncles Wilfred Conetah; Byron Conetah, Doyle Conetah all of Myton, UT; Douglas Conetah of Elko, NV; Stanley Premo of Owyhee, NV; and Carl Premo of Elko, NV; aunties, Francine Pete, Fredella Conetah, Amaryllis Pinkham (Juilian) all of Myton, UT; Arvilla Conetah of Elko, NV; Carla Knight (Rex), and many numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews
Joshua is preceded in death by his father, Bradley Conetah; mother, Vida Rose Premo; brother, Jason Bradley Coneta; grandparents, Fred and Rosella Myore Conetah; David LeRoy Premo and Irene Sam Allison.
Traditional graveside service will be held at 9 A.M., Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Myton City Cemetery. Following the service a traditional feed will be held at the Myton Indian Community Building.
. A wake will be held on Friday February 27, 2027 at 4:00 P.M., at Amaryllis
