Josephine Beth Bell Edrington, age 91, formerly of Lapoint, Utah, died December 15, 2023, from advanced age, while living with her son, Cody and his wife, Gail in Goshen, Idaho. She had moved in with them in 2022 after 40 plus years in Cache Valley, Provo, and then the Uintah Basin.
She was born on April 19, 1932, in St. Anthony, Idaho. She grew up in the Teton area and in Anaconda, Montana. She married LaMar Kay Edrington in the Idaho Falls Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on January 29t 1952. Together they had seven children. They lived in Idaho, Montana, Utah, California, Arizona, Virginia, and New York.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She and her husband served a mission to the island of Kiribati. For the last several years her home was in LaPoint, Utah, where she had many, many friends.
She is survived by her children, Scott Bell (Amy) Edrington, Firth, Idaho; Cody Cash (Gail) Edrington, Goshen; and Ches Cord (Sally) Edrington, Moses Lake, Washington; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Val (Kathy) Bell, Dick (Diane) Bell, both of Forsythe, Montana; and one sister, Madge Bell Park, Orem, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LaMar Kay Edrington, 4 children: JoDeene, Rona Kaye, Hank Wyatt, and Sanna Lee, along with 3 brothers, and 5 sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lapoint Chapel. There will be a viewing from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church
Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park
