Our sweet and Loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Brother and Friend, Jim Hadden, has fallen asleep in death on July 22, 2024 at his home in Myton, Utah at the age of 77.
James Kent (he didn’t like his middle name) Hadden was born to Leland J and Emma Jean Smith Hadden on July 11, 1947 in Roosevelt, Utah.
What a wonderful man with the patience of Job to be married to his sweetie Cynthia “Cindy” Richins Hadden for 50 years (April 13, 1974).
Jim was a very hard worker providing for his family thru many jobs, farming, oil field hand, cosmetology was his passion and made the ladies look beautiful.  It took some time but I finally talked him into driving school bus.  Jim worked for Link Trucking for Rex and LaRue Lamb and kept her yard manicured and beautiful for many years.
Jim and I retired in 2019 to mow the lawn in the summer at our Myton home and spend the winter in Salome Arizona riding the desert on the side by side with Gary and Jane and many cousins and friends.
Jim was Baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on September 15, 1963 in Pleasant Grove, Utah and served his God Jehovah faithfully for over 60 years.
Jim loved playing with his kids, camping, fishing, round up, branding day and tending his immaculate yard and garden.  He was always willing to do a job no matter what it was.
Jim is survived by his faithful, loving wife, Cindy.  He was the coolest Dad to Wade and Raelyn, Shaun and Amelia, Ben and Hazel, Kjersti and Sebastian.  Devoted Grandpa to Abigail Daplene and Denver, Jesse Lee James and JimLee Gene all of Myton.  Jim was Georgie to four grands and nine great-grands of Bonita Springs, Florida.  Brother, Gary and Jane, sister, Luann and Kenny Ross, brother-in-law, LaVern Young.  In-law family: Douglas, Mike and Carma, Craig, Jon, Dallas, Joy and LaMar Long, Milan, Lee, Kim and Darrell Howlett and Sonny Marrocco.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Jean, sister, Susan, brother, Dick, granddaughter, Annabelle, in-laws, Alma and Janet, Jay and Paul.
Per his wishes Jim will be cremated.
The Hadden Family would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the wonderful caring support from Canyon Home Care and Hospice, especially the loving hands of Jessica and Chris who stood by us thru this Hospice journey, Harley, Ashley, Naydeen and staff.
