Jensen Clark Miller, age 19, our beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident on August 27, 2024.
The son of Bret and Evelyn Miller, Jensen was born in North Las Vegas, Nevada on May 2, 2005, and came into their loving home where he was adored by his five older siblings. When his younger brother, Tyce, was born, his dream of becoming a big brother came true. He took that role very seriously and protected and watched out for him his whole life.
Jensen was known for his infectious smile and fun-loving personality. His enthusiastic and energetic nature made him a crowd favorite and someone that everyone wanted to be around. He was kind-hearted, empathetic and compassionate. His love and concern for people made everyone feel like they were his best friends. He told everyone he loved them and was unwavering in his loyalty to his family and friends.
Jensen was always an athlete with a passion for football. He was quick and played with heart and dedication. He would play whatever sport was in season; baseball, basketball and soccer. He loved music and had amazing rhythm that made him an excellent drummer and a great dancer. Jensen enjoyed learning, especially about nature, animals, and the world around him. He graduated from Union High School and worked in the construction industry.
He had a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. Jensen loved the outdoors and spent many hours camping and fishing. He loved to cook for family and friends, especially when it came to grilling the perfect steak, salmon, or shrimp.
Jensen had a strong testimony of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He knew they were aware of him and loved him because of miracles he experienced throughout his young life. We take comfort in knowing that through our Savior, Jesus Christ, we will be reunited with Jensen again.
Jensen is survived by his parents, Bret and Evelyn Miller; his siblings, Everet Miller, Jarom Miller, Bryn Koontz (Darrell), Jaxon Miller, Sade Berlin (Chase), Tyce Miller; his grandparents, Clark and Deanne Miller and Noriko Whitlock.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kurt Whitlock.
