Jeffrey Chance

   
    Jeffrey Robert Chance, age 58, of Roosevelt, passed away August 4, 2024, at his home.
    He was born March 16, 1966, in Hugoton, Kansas, to Eddie and LaJean Stewart Chance.  He married Sonya Lewis on September 25, 2020, in Pueblo, Colorado.
    Jeffrey worked for many years as a contract welder in the oil field pipeline industry.  He was known for his excellent craftsmanship, and could fabricate anything out of steel pipe.  He was a great man and an amazing person who was there for anyone.  He had a very adventurous spirit.  He had to have homemade mac and cheese everyday and in his younger days, he was a bull rider.  He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
    Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Sonya; his daughter, Amber Rene Chance; grandsons, Theo and Jack; parents, Eddie & LaJean Chance; stepchildren, Christopher Lewis, Jamila Agwa, Cemetria Lewis-Howard; and two step-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his sister Janean Rene Chance.
    Per his wishes he was cremated.
