Jayken Bret Ford, age 22, of Roosevelt, passed away August 30, 2025.
He was born April 22, 2003, in Provo, to Jason and Jamie Fazzio Ford.
Jayken was a hardworker and was a quick learner. He was naturally athletic and enjoyed sports of all kinds, golf being his favorite. He also liked to fish, build collectible Lego sets, play his video games, and was an avid Marvel fan. He loved his PS5 and playing online with his friend, Mack. There wasn’t much he was afraid of and was always looking for the next adventure – he was really just a big kid at heart. He had a love for animals, especially his sister’s dog, Daisy.
He worked as a roughneck in the oilfield, and was the smartest guy on the rig – which he didn’t hesitate to remind you of.
Jayken loved to give people gifts which he put a lot of thought into. Playing with his nieces and nephews were one of his greatest joys, and he loved his family and friends. His goofy sense of humor and his slightly awkward personality will be greatly missed.
Jayken is survived by his parents, Jason & Jamie Ford; sister, Jaycie (Jonathan) Soto, all of Roosevelt; his grandparents, Sam Fazzio, Provo; Carie Fazzio, Roosevelt; Collette Ford, Roosevelt; Bret (Anna) Ford, Ocala, Florida; nephew & niece, Gabriel & Elena Soto; aunts, Heather (Jason) White, Spanish Fork; McKinley (Tanner) Davis, Provo; and Amy Beal, Lehi.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Cody Ford; great-grandparents, Joe & Ilene Talbot; JoAnn Williams, Robert Ford; cousin, Haygen Ford; friend, Traicyn Frisby; and great-nephew, Brixton.
Jayken will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Roosevelt Nature Park Pavilion (500 N State Street). All who knew him are invited to attend.
