Jason McAllister

Jason Aaron McAllister, age 47, of Roosevelt, Utah, passed away on May 17, 2026, while hard at work providing for his family, in Myton, Utah.

Jason was born December 5, 1978, in Santa Fe New Mexico to James McAllister, and Peggy Gouthuey . He married Kira Ravonn Goodale on August 18, 2006.

Jason loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. He also enjoyed motorcycles, cars and trucks and could fix them all. He drove water trucks for about 20 years in the oil fields throughout the Uintah Basin. He was well known for his hard work, and driving skills. Above all “getting the job done” and taking care of family was his life.

He was very devoted to his family, he focused on spending time with each and everyone of them. He worked hard for the last 23 years providing for Kira, Julian, and Kiana. His newest pride and joy was his baby granddaughter, Alanni Marie McAllister, she brightened his final days. He had the biggest heart.

He will be greatly missed by the love of his life, Kira McAllister; children, Julian McAllister (Awnna & Caius Zurcher), Kiana McAllister; his mom, Peggy Gouthuey; three sisters, two brothers, and, the apple of his eye and the newest addition to his family, his first granddaughter, Alanni McAllister; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He has a large extended family who will also miss him.

He was preceded in death by his dad, James McAllister; cousins, Anthony Annya and Trisha McAllister; aunts, Olivia and Deloris McAllister; and others from the family.

Even though we will miss him and are saddened by our loss, we find comfort in knowing he will continue watching over us until we are together again.
