Janae Wilkinson, age 41, of Mohave Valley, Arizona, died April 4, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She died after fighting cancer for almost three years.
She was born July 11, 1978, in Roosevelt, to Ronald E and Peggy Ann Nelson Evans. She married Richard J. Wilkinson on April 14, 2006, in the Logan Temple.
Janae was a beloved mother, wife, sister, and daughter. She will be missed by all her knew her, and remembered for the selfless example she gave them. She loved her family, and was thankful for her friends – especially Sue Stahley, Velda Martin, and Dana Whisler who always helped watch the kids when she had doctors’ appointments.
Janae cherished every moment she had with her family. She is survived by her husband, Richard Wilkinson, her children, Jaylee, Teancum, Aiden, Caeli, and Camellia, her parents Ronald and Peggy, and her siblings, Caralee, Amanda, Marianne, Jeanne, and Marvin.
We trust in the promises of God that we will see her again in Heaven. We will be a family “that the same sociality which exists among us here will exist among us there, only it will be coupled with eternal glory,” (Doctrine and Covenants 130:2). We find comfort in the promises of God and his Resurrection, and the plan that Heavenly Father has for us. We will be as a family, and can with Job declare that we will see each other in the flesh, even after we die (Job 19:25-27), and have the joy and happiness God has promised the faithful.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at the Hullinger Mortuary, and because of the COVID-19 restrictions, will be a private family service only. Burial will be in the Upalco Cemetery.
