James Westergard

    James Allen Westergard, age 80, of Vernal, died on May 24, 2023, at the Roosevelt Sr. Villa, Roosevelt, Utah.
    James was born on June 21, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Lloyd Dee and Devona Manausa Westergard.
    James worked as a truck driver, traversing roads as he hauled freight for multiple companies. He enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and loved riding motorcycles. He enjoyed fishing when he was able to get out on the rivers and lakes.
    James is survived by his sons, Lloyd and Jason Westergard; step-daughter, Erin Lujan; siblings, James, John, Loralee, Brent, Linda, and Pamala; several grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Deon, a sister, Shirley, and a daughter, Kim Fielding.
    Per his wishes, James was cremated.
