Jacqueline N. Lee, passed away May 11, 2024 at home with her family.
Jackie was born January 20, 1957 to Darlene and Fernando Nephi and lived in Fort Duchesne, Utah all her life. Jackie was known for her caring personality and love for family and friends.
Jackie enjoyed traveling to numerous powwows and bear dances throughout Indian country, she loved watching all her grandkids dance and participate in their culture. She liked camping, hunting, fishing, and riding to the mountains. Holidays were her favorite time of the year; she enjoyed family gatherings and decorating her house, Christmas and Mothers Day were her favorite holidays to celebrate. Jackie loved beading and sewing and made many beaded outfits for her grandkids.
Jackie had lots of love for the Ute people, she helped her community in various ways throughout her life. She dedicated her time to making sure the elders and people were well looked after, through her time working as a CHR and a driver for Painted Horse.
She is survived by Carla, Adrianna, Ledrian Kowchee, Keara, Thales Walker; Shermaine Blackhair, Ryan, Anilora, Rylie, Cedar, Aspen Redfoot; Ciana, Anthony, Antheeona, Caisen, Anthyn Appawoo; Fananda, Ilan, Kaeloni Nez; Randon Nez; Jordan Nez; Alexis Nephi, Carver Redcap, Lehi Nephi; Araiah, Alex, Alyn Redcap; Treston, Eliza, Achilles, Ares Blackhair; Mae Hendricks; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, her parents, and many relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM. at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building. A wake will be held on Wednesday evening after 4:00 PM at her home in Richardson Subdivision.
Burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
