Jackie L. Jackson

Jackie Lee Jackson, age 52, of Roosevelt, passed away July 9, 2026, at her home. She was born June 1, 1974, in Roosevelt, to Terry Jackson and Ella Richards. Her companion of several years was Wes Clay.

Jackie’s life was spent helping families and children. She worked for the State of Utah in Family Services, her main job and focus was keeping families together. She was not able to have children biologically, but she was a devoted mother to many children that she took in, especially her daughter, Kaili.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, and was a good artist. Her favorite thing to do was play games; she had a game night with the family as often as possible and had a knack for making up really fun games. She loved her nieces and nephews and was the glue that kept the family together. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.

Jackie is survived by her daughter, Kaili Jackson, Roosevelt; her companion, Wes Clay; mother, Ella Richards, Roosevelt; siblings, Kristie Jackson, Roosevelt; Charlie (Jessica) Jackson, Bluebell; Julie (Kolt) Majors, Vernal; nieces and nephews, Skylar, Tyler, Dominic, Wesley, Awnna, Alec, Katie, Freyja, Caius, Koda, Alanni, Delci; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Terry Jackson; grandparents, Lola & Chet Smith; Della & Billy Richards; and many aunts and uncles.

Per her wishes, she was cremated.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Roosevelt City Library. There will be an open house following the service until 6:00 p.m.
