Jack Redfoot, Sr

Jack Garner Redfoot, Sr., 79, of Randlett, passed away August 23, 2015.
Born October 5, 1935, in Ft. Duchesne, to Roger Redfoot and Helen Price UncaSam. He married Irene Accawanna. She later died. He married Angelina Wissiup and she died February 14, 2007.
Jack served in the US Army and then worked in various capacities at the Ute Tribe. He was an excellent leather worker, enjoyed fishing, hunting, being in the mountains, and liked to gamble at Wendover. He once hit a $45,000 jackpot. In his younger days, he was a bronc rider, played baseball & football and was a Sundancer. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he always worried about their well-being. He was a good husband and provider for his family and many of his friends.
The family is very grateful for Conrad and Gwenita Reed who took care of him these last years.
Survived by his children, Jack Garner Redfoot Jr., Arvilla Charging, grandchildren, Angelika & Kayla Redfoot, Jaclyn Redfoot (Renesto Sowsonicut), Allysia & Leandra Reed, Myra Lee Cuch, Nina Cuch, Omaya Tyler, great-grandchildren, Lynlee Sowsonicut, Nolan, Alexis, Ruby, & Marciana; brothers and sisters, Roger Julian Redfoot, Noretah Martinez; Anna Marie R. Lee, Thomas Redfoot, LaDeana (Darryl) Numan, Connie Sweden, Linda (Roy) Ankerpont, Kathleen Martinez, great-uncle, Wilbur Washington, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his wives, sons, Sam Redfoot Lanona Mae Redfoot, step-children, Woodrow Accawanna, Rosita Reed, Marita Sibello, and infant son Redfoot; siblings, Norman, LeGrande, Marvin, Carma, Douglas, and Latina Redfoot.
Funeral services held at St. Helen's Catholic Church on Thursday, August 27, 2015, at 10:00 a.m.
Burial in the Myton Cemetery with military honors presented by the American Legion and the Utah National Guard.
