Jack Fillingim

             Jack Lee Fillingim, age 71, of Roosevelt, passed away at his home on July 18, 2026 with his family by his side.
             Jack was born on September 1, 1954 in Roosevelt, Utah to Adolph Nathan and Leigh Lorraine Jackman Fillingim.  He married Cathy Vicena Ivie on April 22, 1972 in Myton, Utah.
             Jack was a giant of a man with few words.  He was a kind, loving strong man who would help anyone.  He was a wonderful provider and did what needed to be done to provide for his family.  He worked for many years in the oil field.  He enjoyed breaking and riding horses, driving Lizzy the side by side with Cathy, packing into the mountains, fishing, hunting and anything "Bigfoot" and paranormal.  His family was most important to him, and he delighted in spending time with each of them and spoiling the grand, great and great-great grandkids.  He could build or fix anything.
              He is survived by his wife, Cathy Fillingim;  children,  Mickey (Ted) Heckathorn,  Marcie (Mike) Johnson,  Josh (Kari) Fillingim;  13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren;  his best friend, his dog, Uncle Mugsy;  and his siblings,  Ned Fillingim,  Billie (John) Reed, Chance (Dana) Fillingim, Shirley (Rick) Lucero, and Patty Cupp.
               He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Barbara Ross and Sam Fillingim.
                A viewing will be held on Friday,  July 24, 2026 at the Hullinger Mortuary from 3:00-4:30 PM.  Following the viewing he will be cremated.
