Isabel Manzanares

    Isabel Manzanares, age 76, of Myton, passed away on January 31, 2022 at the Uintah Basin Medical Center due to complications of COVID.
    Isabel was born June 21, 1945 in Montrose, Colorado, to Arthur and Laura Martinez Rocha.  She married Joe Velante Manzanares on June 16, 1961.
    Isabel was full of life and spunky, anything she set out to accomplish she succeeded.  She was very family oriented and was the rock of her family.  She had a big heart and enjoyed helping others and listening to music.
    She is survived by her husband Joe Manzanares, children, Pam Branson, Janet (Roy) Garza, Valenta Joe (Anissa) Manzanares, Tracy (Sheri) Manzanares, 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and 3 siblings.
    She was preceded in death by her parents and 6 siblings.
    Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Helen’s Catholic Church.  A viewing will be held that morning from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
    Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
