Ina Martinez

Ina Charlene Reed Martinez, age 60, of Ft. Duchesne, died on October 20, 2020, at the Uintah Basin Medical Center.
Ina was born on August 9, 1960, in Roosevelt, Utah to Charles Thompson Reed, Sr., and Marietta Chapoose Reed.
Ina worked as a switchboard operator for the Ute Indian Tribe, and had received numerous certificates from the Uintah Basin Technical College.  She liked to fish and hunt around the Uintah Basin. She played volleyball and basketball and enjoyed drawing, hand painting, watching WWE Wrestling and scrap booking. Her family was very important to her and she loved to be with them, especially her grandchildren. She liked to travel to Wendover and play bingo and the slot machines.   She was always involved with community activities including basketball and softball tournaments,  She was a member of the Fort Duchesne Women’s Auxillary Post #2.
She is survived by her children: Kobi (Rainey) Reed, Jessen Reed, Bucky Reed, and Rachel Tirado; nine grandchildren, and her siblings: Conrad (Gwennita) Reed, Carlos (Lenna) Reed, James Reed, Lori (Byron) Rock, and Mendi Padilla (Matt Bolt).
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Chuckie Reed, siblings, Charles T. Reed, Jr., Patsy Reed, and Mary Jo Reed; an aunt, Ina Chapoose; a nephew, Conrad “Big” Reed, Jr., and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Reed Family Home with final viewing and luncheon.  A wake will be held after 4:00 p.m. on Friday at the home.  
Burial will be in the Reed Cemetery.
