Howard Oney

Howard Eugene Oney, age 72, of Roosevelt, passed away May 13, 2026, at the Uintah Basin Senior Villa.

He was born March 14, 1954, in California, to Ralph Oney. He had served in the United States Army.

Howard was an auto mechanic in his younger days. Lately, after moving in with his son, he enjoyed going on drives with his grandson, taking him to Burger King, cooking, watching television and just hanging out.

He is survived by his sons, Jason Stephens (Rhiannon Nebeker), Roosevelt; Adam (Deedee) Oney, Pacific, Washington; grandsons, Ethan Oney & Quinn Stephens; and seven siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.

Howard is being cremated.
