Georgia Faye Timothy

    Georgia Faye Timothy, age 66, of Randlett, passed away December 21, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family.
    She was born September 26, 1953, in Artesia, New Mexico, to Georgia Estella “GE” and Emma Josephine Wilson Newman.  She married Ferris Timothy on August 19, 1996, and he died October 2004.
    Georgia was the owner and operator of the Randlett Mercantile from 2001-2016.  One of her favorite pastimes was B.S.-ing with the customers at “The Merc.”.  She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, camping, fishing (in her younger days), gardening, and especially telling stories.  She loved her family, and adored the grandkids and great-grandkids – watching and taking care of them was her greatest joy!
    Georgia is survived by her daughters, Toni Michelle Cornell, Rita Sides, both of Randlett; grandchildren, Rystian McDermett, Ashley (Don) Knowlton, Kathryn (Marty) Black, Ryan (Meghan) Sides, Chayse Cornell, Kendra Sides, Adam Cornell, Melissa Cornell, Mitchell (Breanna) Merkley, Morgan (Nick) Cruz, Corri (Jimmy) Worthlen, and Mindy Migliori;  many great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferris; son, Ronald Dean Graves; siblings, Jerry Hill, Lloyd Newman, Emma Barker, Roy Newman, Rebecca Deaton, Roberta Dean, and her parents.
    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Randlett Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  There will be a viewing at the Hullinger Mortuary on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10-10:45 a.m.
    Burial will be in the Avalon Cemetery.
