Garry Lynn Boren “Lynn”, age 77, passed away on February 9, 2026, after a courageous battle with AML leukemia.
He was born on June 21, 1948, to James and Margaret Boren, who later married Gail Loranger.
Lynn was a hardworking man who entered the military and was wounded before returning home and marrying the love of his life, Saundra, in November of 1973, and raising three children: Julie, Paul, and Trinity.
Lynn loved the outdoors watching his grass grow and spending time with family. He especially enjoyed arrowhead hunting with his brothers, Duane, Keith, and Glenn. He also loved hunting, riding his 4-wheeler, and spending time working and tinkering on his tractor.  He loved making jewelry and belt buckles with his turquoise and showing off his guns.
Some of his greatest joy came from supporting his family. He always loved cheering on his great-grandchildren, Traceyl and Brantley as they played football and competed in wrestling. He was also proud of his great-granddaughter, Paitlynn, who was named after him, and loved watching her dance and compete in wrestling. Lynn deeply enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially meeting new babies and bringing smiles to their faces.
Lynn is survived by his children, Paul (Dana), Trinity (Shaun), Julie (John), 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and his brother, Glenn (Vici).
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Boren, Margaret Loranger, and Gail Loranger; his sister, Peggy Anderton, and his brothers, Duane and Keith.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hullinger Mortuary.  A viewing will be held from 10:00 - 10:45 AM.
Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park with military honors presented by the Marine Honor Guard, Roosevelt American Legion and the Utah Patriot Guard Riders.
