Francie Brave

    Francie “Frenchie” Salina Brave, age 61, of Roosevelt, passed away October 3, 2025, at “The Lodge” in Heber City.  
    She was born August 12, 1964, in Cortez, Colorado, to Lloyd Bancroft Mills and Florence Ankerpont Mills.  
    Francie worked for over 20 years as the property and supply manager for the Indian Health Services.  She was an excellent cook and baker and really enjoyed listening to music and traveling to Pow Wows and Round Dances.  She had a great sense of humor and loved to be with friend and family.  Her grandkids were the love of her life and spending time with them was her favorite pastime. 
    Francie is survived by her children, Floralena (Jonah) Serawop-Grant, Randlett; Nina Mills, Salt Lake City; Winona (Eulynda) Brave, Roosevelt; grandchildren, Bowen, Jamison, Domitri, Daesion, Wohitika, Wetu, Shoni; grand-furbaby, Jovie; and step-father, Wilbert Mills.
    She was preceded in death by her infant sister; and her parents.
    Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary.  Following the services, she will be cremated.
