Felita Mae Black, age 61, of Randlett, passed away November 5, 2021 at the Utah Valley Medical Center.
Felita was born October 28, 1960 in Roosevelt to Ruby Atwine and Johnnie Yazzie Blackhair. She was the 6th child out of her family.
Being a homemaker she made a lot of friends and left her door open to all who needed an ear to listen too and was always willing to help people in need. She played many sports with her kids and spent a lot of time watching her grandkids. She traveled supporting her family with the sports, going from the west to the east coast and also Canada. She loved of camping, hunting, fishing, and being in the mountains. She enjoyed watching the Pow Wow, attending the Sundance and Bear Dances. While at home she enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, craft booking, photography, puzzles, gambling, and watching her Asian dramas. She cherished taking care of her kids and grandkids. She had a fun personality and delighted in teasing those around her.
She is survived her husband Alonzo John, 10 children, 25 grandkid all of her siblings, aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, brother, several aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews and cousins..
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Whiterocks Community Building. A wake will be held after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Whiterocks Community Building.
Burial in the Red Knoll East Atwine Cemetery.
