Exavier Jaden RunsMedicine-SingingWater, age 20, of Vernal, passed away May 20, 2022, at his home.
    He was born May 8, 2002, in Vernal, to Matthew and Cheyenne Warren Romero.  
    Exavier was a very active young man who enjoyed spending time with friends, dancing around, swimming, playing basketball & volleyball, skateboarding, and gaming.  He was a talented artist and was skilled at beadworking.  He always had his ear buds in, listening to music – or just tuning everyone out. He spent a lot of time at the rec center or at Ashley playing basketball with friends who became brothers.
    Exavier is survived by his companion, Ismary Ipina Perez; parents, Cheyenne & Matthew Romero; grandmothers, Veronica, Ina, April, Susan Santio; grandfathers, Darryl Santio, Paul W.     He was preceded in death by his brothers Cris RunsMedicine and Josh Friday; sister, Janelle Warren; grandmother, Ann Santio; grandfather, Hubert Warren Jr.; uncles, Hubert Warren III and Jerome Warren; great-grandparents, Hubert E. Warren, Sr., Inez Jenkins, Daniel and Hannah Serawop Santio.
    Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building. There will be a wake at his mother, Cheyenne Romero’s, home in Ft. Duchesne on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, after 3:00 p.m.
    The burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
