Evette Hadlock

August 8, 1952 — February 1, 2023

Vernal, UT

Evette Hadlock, age 70, of Vernal, passed away February 1, 2023, at the University of Utah Hospital.
She was born August 8, 1952, in Roosevelt, to Everett and Prudy Madge Hayne Daniels.  She married the love of her life, Barry Vance Hadlock on August 8, 1970, in Reno, NV, and for the last 52 years and 4 months they have been almost inseparable.
Evette worked as a teacher’s aide at Eagle View Elementary and had also worked at a Youth Correction facility for the State of Utah.  She really enjoyed working with the youth and helping them coordinate visits and other things.  In her spare time, she worked in the yard – especially on her flower beds– and was an avid knitter and crocheter.  She loved her children and people in general.  A few years ago, she decided she would talk to and become a friend with almost every person she came in contact with – and for the most part she did!
Evette is survived by her husband, Barry, of Vernal; children Nathan (Tammy) Hadlock and Isis Rose Hadlock; siblings, Chris Daniels, Natalie Crane, Jonathan (Barbara) Daniels, Eric (Jolene) Daniels, Everett (Robin) Daniels, Brian (Tina) Daniels, and David (Heather) Daniels; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Erika Dahn Hadlock, brother, Hal Daniels,, and also her parents.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Vernal.
Her cremated remains will eventually be scattered on the Oregon Coast – one of her favorite places.
