Eseta Mate Maile, age 69, of Roosevelt, the wife of Amoni Maile, passed away December 27, 2025, at the Uintah Basin Sr. Villa.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (447 E Lagoon Street). There will be a viewing that morning at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m. (At the family's request, there will not be a wake or a viewing the night before -- only the viewing on the morning of the funeral.)

Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
