Joyce Elaine Maloney Warr, age 82, of Bluebell, our cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, returned to our Heavenly Father on August 9, 2023.
Born on July 24, 1941, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Elaine was the daughter of Karl T. Maloney and Daisy Bleazard Maloney. On November 30. 1959, in Salt Lake City, she married her childhood sweetheart, Dennis Wilson Warr. Their union was solemnized for all eternity in the Salt Lake City temple on August 15, 1963.  He died October 6, 2021.
Elaine and Dennis embarked on their journey in Salt Lake City, raising three children: Denise, Debra, and Doug. Their adventures led them to Heber, Utah, and later to the Uintah Basin, where they established their home in Bluebell.
As a professionally trained beautician, Elaine dedicated herself to her craft, having put herself  through beauty school. Following their children's maturity, Elaine and Dennis enjoyed extensive travel due to Dennis's work, exploring numerous states and even the Virgin Islands.
Grandma's heart was dedicated to her family above all. She held immense pride in each of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, staying intimately connected with their lives.
Additionally, she fervently pursued genealogy, often found in her home office engrossed in genealogical research.  An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Elaine was a constant in service. Together with Dennis, she fulfilled various responsibilities, including three missions and service as ordinance workers in the Vernal Temple. Grandma also served as the Relief Society president.
Elaine is survived by her children: Denise (Rick) Hofmann, Debra (Allen) Lindsay, Douglas (Mindy) Warr; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, her parents, and siblings, Richard, Wayne, and Brent, as well as her grandson, Joshua Warr.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Altamont Stake Center. Viewings will be held at the church on Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
