Elaine Farnsworth Lenox

    Marjorie Elaine Wright Farnsworth Lenox, age 86,  passed away March 7, 2018, peacefully at home in Duchesne.
    Elaine was born February 3, 1932 in Duchesne to Clarence Casper and Margaret Annie Beal Wright. She married John Keith Farnsworth on December 7, 1953, in the Salt Lake Temple. Keith died November 11, 1970. Together they had four children, Farrell and Jolene Farnsworth, Duchesne; Gordon Farnsworth, Riverton; Cindy and Kelly Cowan, Duchesne; and Sandra and Franco Cerchiari, Saratoga Springs. Elaine married Francis John Lenox on October 5, 1978. He died on November 8, 2000.
    Elaine worked for First Security Bank for over 30 years and served in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in various callings. She was an avid Utah Jazz fan and tried to watch every game.  She took great joy in her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, traveling the world, and working in her yard and flowers.
    Survived by her children, step-daughter, Elaine and Jim Jones, and
step-granddaughter Michelle and Joey Valdez; eight grandchildren, Kristen, Brian, Keith, Brenton, Stephen, Michael, Rachel, and Jessica; four great grandchildren, Maddison, Kanden, Luke, and Elaine (Lainey); and two sisters, Thora and Bryan Christensen, Midvale; and Shirley and Keith Hooper, Duchesne.
    Funeral services will be held Monday, March 12, 2018, at 12 p.m. at the Duchesne 3rd Ward church. Friends may call from 10:00 - 11:45 a.m.
    Burial will be in the Duchesne City Cemetery.
