Edna Conn

April 1, 1929 — February 23, 2024

Duchesne

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother Edna Nielsen Conn, age 94 of Duchesne Utah, was received by the Lord with her great granddaughter Shaylece Summarell by her side. She passed without pain while listening to her favorite world war II songs, and being surrounded in the arms of love at 11:45 pm on Friday February 23, 2024.
She had an unfaltering faith in the Lord and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Edna was a good honest woman having had a 25 year career in the United States Postal Service stationed in Duchesne. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Edna was relentlessly independent, fiercely  loyal, and brave. She had a great sense of humor. Edna was the matriarch of the Conn family and will sorely be missed by all who knew her. Farewell, our beloved Edna Nielson Conn, until we are all reunited in the here after. We love and miss you. You have left a void that cannot be filled. Farewell, farewell.
Edna is survived by her son G.R. Conn, Vietnam era veteran, granddaughter, Nicol Conn Sarrette, and husband Buck Sarrette, both Gulf war veterans. Three  great grandchildren, Shaylece Summarell (Ty Summarell), Cole Sarrette, and Ali Sarrette. Great-great grandchildren, Jayston, Hayz, Dustee, and Dace Summarell. Step grandchildren Marc Strain (deceased), Eric Strain Veteran, Donnett and Natasha Bouge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George M Conn, World War II veteran.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at the Duchesne American Legion, 248 East 100 South
