Doniven Lee Kesling, beloved son and brother, passed away on April 17, 2026 at the age of 20 due to complications from a very rare type of fast moving cancer. He was able to live life to the fullest doing his favorite things with his family up to the end. At the time of passing he was surrounded by his family.
Doniven was born on April 29, 2005 in Vernal Utah, to Larisa Madsen and Brad Kesling. He graduated from Duchesne High School in 2023, starting his Junior year with only 2 credits. He went on to complete all credits within only 2 school years.
Doniven had a unique sense of humor that only came out around those he felt closest to. If you saw that special side of him, you were in “the club”. Doniven loved to make sly jokes, one of his favorites being when anyone mentioned that something was too hot, he would quickly respond with “not half as hot as me” and walk away with a smirk. If you know you know.
Doniven loved gaming with his family, especially his siblings. He loved movies, books, games and anything that had to do with electronics. He loved animals and they loved him. You would more often than not find him with one of his cats in his arms.
Doniven is survived by his parents, Brad Kesling, and Larisa and Dustin Madsen, along with his siblings - brother, Dameon Kesling, sister, Halle Kesling, sister, Henley Roberts, brother, Drayden Madsen, sister, Justice Madsen, and brother, Christian Darnall.
