Donald Donavan Reed, age 50, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away December 10, 2025, at the Uintah Basin Medical Center of a heart attack.
He was born November 12, 1975, in Roosevelt, to Donald L and Irene Myore Reed. While growing up in the Yellowstone Subdivision area he attended Todd Elementary and West Jr. High Schools. He held his first job as a DJ at the local roller rink in Roosevelt. He graduated from Clearfield Job Corps with a certificate in maintenance and carpentry.
Donald married Twilah Gardner on October 3, 1998, and they later divorced. In their union, they had three children: Donavan, Chance, and Alley. He met and married Jesse Pete, and they later divorced. They had two children: Devin & Annabelle. Donald was a jack-of-all-trades and held various jobs for the Ute Indian Tribe. He was an accomplished artist and enjoyed drawing and bringing Marvel and DC characters to life. He was always the life of the party and was a huge fan of wrestling, attending many Wrestle Manias, Summer Slams, and other WWF functions – always accompanied by his sons, and nephews, Gage and Ceejay.
Donald is survived by his children, Donavan (Stephanie) Reed, Altamont; Chance (Myranda) Reed, Brigham City; Ally, Devin, & Annabelle, all of Myton; grandchildren, Azula, Jabari, Claudio, & Aaliyah; mother, Irene Reed; siblings, Dean Reed, Wyoming; Rebecca Redfoot, Coonsville; Malissia (Emmette) Cesspooch, Ft. Duchesne; Donna (Tim) Ignacio, Lapoint; Jon (Norma) Reed, South Dakota; Rondra (Dustin) Teague, Lapoint; Ronalda (Art) Silva, Yellowstone; Jaymes Murray, Tooele; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald; siblings, Brucie LaSal Reed, Devin Reed; uncles, Frank Myore, Franklin “Dobe” Murray, Bruce Hendricks, Robert & Russell Reed; aunts, Sandra Myore, Lawanna Reed LongShoulder, Colleen Gardner; grandmother, Cleo Shavanaux, Dorthy Hendricks; cousins, Troop Jenks, David Myore, Dottie Reed, Lisa Martinez, David Martinez, JJ Maez; nephews, Jon Reed, Jr., Tommy Reed; and brother-in-law, Justin Gardner & Buddy Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Randlett Community Building. There will be a wake after 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Jon Reed residence in the Yellowstone Subdivision (1758 N 5500 E).
Burial will be in the Randlett Cemetery.
