Dolly Roseline “Rosie” Cuch, age 73, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away March 24, 2026, at her home.
She was born October 2, 1953, in Salt Lake City, to Marion and Ruth Quinn Cuch. She married Everett Duncan, Sr., and they later divorced.
Rosie worked as a dispatcher for The Ute Indian Tribe. She was a talented and professional artist in the mediums of beadworking, drawing, pottery, quilting, and painting. She used those skills to help with the Arts Kids program at St. Helen’s Episcopal Church in Whiterocks. She enjoyed traveling, and attending Pow Wows and Sundances. She loved her grandchildren, especially Elyssa’s children whom she was always talking about. He really liked to go see her aunt Ina Jane Nephi.
Rosie is survived by her granddaughter, Elyssa Duncan; great-grandchildren, Alastor & Elanoir Checora; siblings, Marion Serawop, Delana Mart, Joline (Richard) Poowegup, Bettina Redfoot, Tissy Cuch, Roseann (Jubal) Myore, Ginny Chimburas, Irene Chimburas, Adelbert Tavashutz, Phillip Chimburas, Joe Tapoof; aunt, Ina Jane Nephi; special nieces, Malloree Serawop, Celina Pargeets, The Quinn’s, and numerous other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her son, Everett Duncan, Jr.; parents; Ex-husband, Everett Sr.; siblings, Janet Cuch, Kathleen Cuch, Stanford Cornpeach, Colleen Redfoot, Cecilia Cuch; nephews Michael Serawop, Greg Quinn, Parker RedfootRaycita Quinn, Anfernee Black; and favorite niece, Cynthia Redfoot.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building. There will be a wake after 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the community building.
Burial will be in the John Harmes Cemetery in Whiterocks.
