    David Allen Harvey, a man whose rugged exterior hid the most beautiful, gentle soul, passed away on June 5, 2026. Born on June 22, 1958, in Liberal, Kansas, to George and Sharon (Shelton) Harvey, David spent his life leaving an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
    He grew up in a bustling household with eight siblings. He shared an incredibly special, unbreakable bond with his brother, Tim. The two of them were more like twins than just brothers—getting into their fair share of chaos over the years, but always remaining incredibly close and never letting a single week go by without calling each other.
    If you looked at David’s exterior, you might think he was one of the meanest, toughest bikers around. But the moment you shook his hand, you knew instantly that he was just a gentle giant. He spent time working hard in the oilfield, but his true professional passion was the open road. He dedicated years to the trucking industry, working for various companies before proudly owning and operating his own truck.
    However, David’s greatest joy in life wasn't found on the road; it was found with his family. He loved his wife with his entire being. After retiring, David found his absolute favorite job: being the designated after-school ride for his grandkids so they wouldn't have to take the bus. He was known to arrive more than an hour early every single day, just to make sure they never had to wait a minute for him.
    David’s legacy of deep, unconditional love lives on in his sprawling, beautiful family. He is survived by his beloved wife, MaryAnn; his daughter, Destiny; and his five bonus children, whom he loved and raised as his very own: Cody & Jeri, Heather & Kevin, Bailey, and Jason & Jaden.
    He was the proudest grandfather to Destiny's children: Collin, Kelci, Alexis, and Leathan; as well as his bonus grandchildren: Madison, Lainee, Corbyn, Stockton, Avyrie, Harley, Eluria (Georgie), Kalia, Dom, Jacolby, Leland, Randy, and Scarlet. His love multiplied even further with his great-grandchildren: Ezra, Ezekiel, Eliana, Emelia, Eveleigh, Alaia, and Jaxton.
    He is also survived by his siblings: Kay (Harvey) Foos, Sherri Harvey, James Harvey, and Matthew Harvey; his brothers- and sisters-in-law: Carl Jones, Andy & Rachelle Jones, and Tom Jones; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles; and his longtime, dear friends TJ & Pat Mathews, and BJ & Sean Baker.
    David was warmly welcomed into heaven by his parents, George and Sharon; his mother- and father-in-law, Carl and Elaine Jones; and his beloved siblings: Donald, Timothy, Steven, and Jerri (Harvey) Greenwood.
    In true David fashion, he requested that there be no formal funeral services. He will be cremated, and his final wish was incredibly simple: he just wanted everyone who knew him to go out and buy a lotto ticket in his honor.
