Danny Wayne Murray, age 71, of Neola, passed away October 27, 2021, at his home of complications of diabetes.
He was born in Roosevelt, on July 17, 1950, to Clyde R. and Erna E. Wall Murray. He grew up attending Roosevelt Elementary, Jr. High and graduating Union High School in Roosevelt. He spent most of his life working with his family in Roosevelt and Neola and was living on the family ranch in Neola, Utah when he died.
Danny married Kristine Shurtliff on October 25, 1969, in Roosevelt. To them were born three beautiful daughters. Tammy Jo, Katherine Ann “Katie” and Kristy Kay, whom he dearly loved. Danny and Kris later divorced.
He loved the mountains and spent time hunting and fishing across the Uintah’s. He always said that in the outdoors was where he always felt his best.
Danny is survived by his children, Tammy Jo (Rodney) Gines, West Valley; Katherine “Katie” (Nephi) Thompson, Kearns; Kristy Kay (Pete) Brannon, Layton; grandchildren, Markas & Kolby Gines; Brandon, Austin, & Zach Thompson; James Brannon; Courtney Mahoney; Sage Johnson; siblings, Lois Hansen, Meridian, Idaho; Donna Davies, Bountiful; Larry (Cheryl) Murray, Washington; 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Erna Murray; brothers, Gail Richard “Nick” Murray, Jerry M. Murray; brothers-in-law, Fritz Hansen and Venoy Davies.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Neola Cemetery.
