     It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cruz Lee Curry, “Cruzerman”, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left us far too soon on July 28, 2025, at the age of 12.
    Born on June 12, 2013 in Roosevelt, UT to parents, Jeremy and Angela Curry and brothers, Devin Lefler and Lawsen Curry. Cruz’s life was filled with boundless energy, laughter, and a passion for sports that touched everyone around him.
    From the very beginning, Cruz displayed a natural talent for sports, whether it was playing football, dribbling a basketball, or tossing around a baseball. He lived for the thrill of competition and the camaraderie of his teammates, always giving his best effort, no matter the game. His enthusiasm and love for sports was contagious, inspiring others to push their limits to the max and find joy in every moment.
    He was a kind-hearted and compassionate young soul, always ready with a smile and a hug, a kind word, or a helping hand. His infectious spirit brightened the lives of everyone he met, and his family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. Cruz’s sense of humor, his playful nature, and his loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
    Cruz is survived by his loving parents, his devoted siblings, and a wide circle of family and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts. His passing leaves a hole in the lives of those who loved him, but they take comfort in knowing that his legacy of love, joy, and determination will continue to inspire them.
    Cruz’s spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched, and though he is no longer with us, his memory will remain a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to know him. Rest in peace, Cruzerman. You will never be forgotten.
   Funeral services for Cruz Curry, age 12, son of Jeremy and Angela Curry, of Duchesne, will be held on Saturday, August 2nd at 3:00 PM at the Duchesne Stake Center. A viewing will be held from 1:30 - 2:45.
    Burial in the Tabiona Cemetery under the direction of the Hullinger Mortuary.
