Cris Zorro RunsMedicine-SingingWater, age 16, of Vernal, died December 8, 2019 at his home.
    Cris was born on April 23, 2003 in Vernal, UT to Cheyenne Warren Romero and Matthew Romero.  He was a student at Uinta River High School in Ft. Duchesne and was currently playing on the basketball team.
    Cris enjoyed sports, he played basketball, football, volleyball, soccer, bowling, and weight training.  He like to cook, play video games, bead, and hunt and fish in the mountains.  He loved to spend time with his younger siblings and hang out with his friends. He was always outgoing, smiling, and helping others.  He loved going to Powwows.
    Cris is survived by his parents, siblings, Dean Friday, Riko Warren, Exavier and Anthony RunsMedicine-SingingWater; grandparents, Hubert “Hubbs” Warren Jr., and Veronica Santio.
    He is preceded in death by a baby brother, Steven Travis Warren, cousin, Josh Friday; grandma, Ann Santio, and great-grandparents, Hannah Santio and Hubert Warren, Sr.
    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building.
    A wake will be held on Friday after 2:00 p.m. at his home in Vernal, 1760 West 750 South.
    Following the funeral service, he will be cremated.
