Cheri Workman

    Cheri Workman, age 63, of Roosevelt, UT passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family, on August 5, 2020.
    Cheri was born October 21, 1956 in Duchesne, UT to Wane and Jo Ann Ward Workman. She was raised and lived most of her life in Roosevelt, UT. She graduated from Union High School in 1974 
    Cheri was known by many and loved by everyone. She was always thinking of others and trying to help in any way she could. She has made a difference in more people's lives than can be counted through foster care, teaching culinary arts, weddings, her four restaurants and anywhere else she may have met them. She always said that they made just as much if not more of an impact in her life than she did on theirs and she loved everyone.
    Cheri had a special bond with each one of her grandchildren and was always able to make them feel like they were the most important thing in the world to her, which they were.
    She was extremely artistic and loved to paint, decorate cakes, weddings, and homes, and design and renovate houses. She was always drawing up designs for one of her children’s homes or wanting to help decorate, even when they didn’t ask.
    Cheri is survived by her children Lance Hunt, St. George, UT; Tavia (Jode) Wall, Altamont, UT; True Prisbrey, Mansfield PA; Tiara Prisbrey, Roosevelt, UT; Tearsha (Colton) Duncan, Roosevelt, UT; grandchildren Makayla, Meghan, Lane, Bailey, Kyler, Brinley, Chloe, Kaytlyne, Jaqxon, Briggs, Caden, Jazzmyn, Boden, Jericho, & Zeya, her father and step-mother, Wane & Jackie Workman; sisters,Tamara (Dennis) Ferguson, Sue (Lance) Denver, sister in law Teresa Leibig, and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Cheri is preceded in death by her mother Jo Ann Workman, brother Wade Workman, niece Shae Denver, and grandparents.
    Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary.  A viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. and Monday from 1:00 - 1:45 p.m.
    Burial in the Altamont Cemetery.
