Carol Felter

Carol Jean Felter, age 89, formerly of Vernal, died July 6, 2026, at her home.

She was born June 13, 1937, in Lapoint, Utah, to Roy and Addlion Springer. She married to Jasper Lee “Bud” Felter on June 3, 1955, in Roosevelt, and after 62 years of marriage, he died February 19, 2018.

Carol enjoyed traveling, watching and searching for all types of wildlife, riding horses, and going to Wendover for fun.

She is survived by her two sons, Randall Felter & Jeffrey Felter; a sister, Roleen (Daniel) Bird; grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; son, Lee Felter; siblings, Lela Springer, Ida Anderton, Dwight Springer, Loretta Springer, Roy “Shorty” Springer, and Merle Anderton Powell, and Charles Springer.

Funeral services will be held on July 15, 2026, at the Hullinger Mortuary in Roosevelt. There will be a viewing that morning at the mortuary from 10-10:45 am.

Burial will be in the Lapoint Cemetery.
