Carol Casto

    Carol Virginia Casto, age 95, of Rangely, Colorado, formerly of Roosevelt, passed away November 27, 2025, at a hospital in Rangely. 
    She was born June 7, 1930, in Salt Lake City, to Carl and Cora Calder McDonald.  She married Clifford Casto on January 9, 1950, in Salt Lake City.  Clifford died March 24, 1986.  
    Carol worked as an office manager at Mountain Fuel Supply for over 25 years.  After her retirement, her life revolved around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She adored them and did as much with them as possible – even taking them on an annual camping trip all by herself.  She is very much loved and will be deeply missed.
    Carol is survived by her son, Dick Casto; 8 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; a sister, Connie McDonald Rose, Dalene Marianni; and many nieces and nephews.  
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; sons, Randy, Lynn, & Wayne Casto; siblings, Kent McDonald.
    Graveside service will be held on Monday, December 1, ,2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
