Calvin Dean Roberts, age 69, of Bluebell, passed away November 23, 2025, at his home.
He was born February 28, 1956, in Vernal, to Dean and Marlene Lennstrom Roberts. He married Margo Weidman on May 12, 1990, in Tremonton, Utah.
Calvin owned and operated Roberts Building, an oil field construction company. In his younger days, he was a carpenter and used that skill throughout his life. His favorite hobby and job was his farm; he loved the animals, especially his horses, his mule, and his dog, Winnie. He had a passion for airplanes and flew his own planes from the runway on the farm. He enjoyed packing into the mountains on horse back, was a talented painter, and liked to search out his ancestors and family history. A proud moment of Calvin’s was being able to participate in the 1996 Utah Centennial Wagon Train from Logan to Cedar City Utah, with his beloved draft horses, King, Dolly Bud and Sid. Above all of that, his children and grandchildren were his favorite thing in his life and he loved traveling to watch them play sports.
Calvin is survived by his wife of 35 years, Margo; children, Wyann (Cade) Taylor, Colton (Shaniequa) Roberts, Bluebell; five grandchildren; his mother, Marlene Roberts, Minersville, UT; siblings, Kathy (Clay) Groll, Tremonton; Sharon (LaMar) West, American Falls, ID; Brent (Kim) Roberts, Providence, UT; Sterling (Melanie) Roberts, Hooper; Yvonne (Steve) Shaver, Monroe; Greg (Laura) Roberts, West Side, ID; Roxanne (Alan) Pollman, Minersville; Coray Roberts, St. George; Monte Roberts, Hooper; and numerous nieces and nephews.
