Bud Marion Christensen

Bud Marion Christensen, age 75, of Roosevelt, passed away December 15, 2023, at Utah Valley Hospital.
    He was born April 8, 1948, in Roosevelt, to Earl and Lucy Quintana Christensen.  
    He married Carol Anne Burdick, and they later separated.  
    Bud worked for most of his life as a truck driver hauling crude oil.  He loved listening to music – loudly– ranging from Black Sabbath to Chris Stapleton.  He enjoyed the mountains and anything outdoors, hunting, and spending time with the family.  He teased everyone, especially his grandkids, and had quite the mischievous streak.  
    Bud is survived by his step-children whom he raised as his own: Lisa McDonald & Danny (Shay) Pace, both of Vernal; his biological children, Joe Christensen, Orem; Christy (Henry) McKenna, Roosevelt; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joan Potter, Bonnie Wilson, both of Myton; Marsha Knight, Erda; numerous nieces and nephews; good friends, Carl “Jonesy” Jones and Frank Jessen.
    He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Alexis McKenna; son-in-law, John McDonald; siblings, Faye Beath; Ken, Charlotte, Ted, Joyce, & Rudy Christensen; and best friend, Carl “Bubba” Carlson.
    Bud’s wishes were to be cremated and memorial service will be held at a later date.
