Brent Lee Drollinger, 67, died on Sunday August 27, 2023, in Bountiful UT.
Our father, grandfather, husband, and brother, Brent Drollinger was born in Roosevelt, UT on November 1, 1955, to his wonderful parents, Clifford and Gladys Drollinger. Brent was the youngest of 6 children (Leeraye, Cheryl, James, Marilyn, Steve) and an uncle a few weeks after he was born. He quickly became the life of the party, always keeping things fun and interesting. Brent was a free spirit who wasn’t afraid to speak his mind or choose his own path.
He was outgoing, everyone knew Brent! He was an active child, always stepping out of his comfort zone, from little league baseball to becoming the student body president of his high school.
Brent was a loyal friend. His friendships formed in his earliest years are some of his strongest to date, too many to list (mainly for fear of missing anyone important). His nieces, nephews and cousins shared so many memories together. He always looked forward to getting together with his family, immediate and extended. He loved to perform in the family talent shows, singing comedic songs just edgy enough to make his Mom proudly embarrassed of her little star. Brent loved his parents, any chance he had he would stop by his childhood home in Roosevelt to meet with them and complete the many household projects they had.
Brent married his 1st wife, Joanne, in 1976. He instantly became Dad to Marie Louise and Lisa Mae (Brian) and together they brought Jonthan David (Misty), Brenda Ann (Luke) and Lance G (Lisa) into the world. In 1994 Brent married his 2nd wife Cynthia Dawn, and instantly became Dad to Austin David (Anna). They later brought Madison Lee into the world. Brent loved Cindy with all his heart, telling anyone who would listen how amazing his “ol’ lady is.” Brent was a very great “Pappy,” “Pappa,” “Grandpa” to his 14 grandchildren. He was very proud of them, always supporting them in their many endeavors: baseball, golf, football, soccer, plays, dances, choir, etc… They love their Grandpa and enjoyed all the attention he gave them.
Brent left this world all too soon. He is survived by his wife, siblings, children, grandchildren, and dog Willow. He will be sorely missed. His laugh will fill our memories and his “Spirit will fly into the mystic” with his dog Odie.
We love you Brent! Always! I guess “we’re through talking now.”
