    Brandy Lottie Gardner, age 37, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away March 21, 2026 at the St. Mark’s Hospital.
    Brandy was born June 19, 1988 in Roosevelt, Utah to Vance and April Dalcey Wissiup Gardner.  She graduated from Uintah River High School where she played basketball.  She liked attending the Pow Wows and playing the flute.  
    Brandy worked at the Ute Plaza as a cashier and at the Ute Food Distribution.
    She enjoyed diamond art, dancing, singing and laughing.  She had a spontaneous, outgoing personality, and was a delight to be around.  She was a protector of those she loved, was known for her free spirit, and was always glad to spend time with family and friends.
    Brandy was very helpful and caring, always willing to help family and friends,  even in the work place she gave her all.  Brandy loved going to the mountains to spend time with family for Birthdays and family get -togethers.  She was full of joy and always had a big welcoming smile, no matter what.  She loved coloring her hair different colors.  She enjoyed walks around the lake and swimming in the ditches.  
    She was a loving mom, sister and aunt who loved with all of her heart.  As a child, she would hug everyone’s legs and as an adult, she said, “Hi!” to everyone. Our warrior forever. . .     
    Brandy is survived by her children, Marcello Black, Tanner Black, both of Texas; Delsin RedCap,Tate Manheimer Redcap, both of Ft. Duchesne;  Raymond Black, Texas; her mother, April Cesspooch (Michael Moss); grandparents, Gilbert Gardner, Raymond Wissiup, Melvin Redcap Sr., Bobby Redcap Sr, Arlon Shoyo; siblings, Cheryl Gardner, Darla (Jason) Garcia, Allen Gardner,  Rebecca Gardner, (cousin sisters & brothers) Cassady Wissiup, Deljean Redfoot, Chandra Wissiup, David Sorenseon, Hauskie Miller, Ansle Miller,; Denise Patterson,Kenton, Janelle Carlos, Danielle Trujillo. Godmothers Janice UncaSam and Roberta Cesspooch; and numerous brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles, nieces, and nephews. 
    She was preceded in death by her father, Vance Gardner; grandparents, Cheryl Redcap, Madeline Williams, Ruth “Patty Moose”, Ellen Cuch, Isabelle Chapoose; great grandparents, Victor Gardner, Sr.,Lottie Longhair Shoyo; aunts, Pollyanna Parks, Betina Wissiup, Leslie Wissiup, Michelle Gardner, Carolee Redfoot; uncles, Roderick Nephi, Stacey Nephi, Jesse Miller,  and Andre Nephi, Victor Large, Lester “ChaChee” Chapoose; siblings, Imagine Wissiup, Shayla Manning, Shannon Gardner, Ashlynn Thompson, Jerrett Manning, Spencer Nephi, Rotisha Harrald, Terrix Manning, Bobby Redcap, Jr., Melvin Redcap, Jr., and Antonia Carlos .
    Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Gilbert Gardner’s home on the Whiterocks Road.  A wake will be held at the same location after 4:00 PM on Friday.
    Burial will be in the John Harmes Cemetery.
