Bonnie Uresk

    Bonnie Lou Kump Uresk, age 91, passed away March 13, 2023, at the Barton Creek Assisted Living Facility in Bountiful, Utah. 
    She was born October 14, 1931, in Lapoint, Utah to Zachariah Jr., and Sarah Reynolds Kump. She married John Uresk on January 2, 1949, in Lapoint, and they were later sealed in the Provo LDS Temple on November 25, 1978.  He died September 14, 2013.
    In addition to raising five sons, Bonnie was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in numerous callings including Relief Society President.
    Bonnie had a beautiful voice and loved to sing, especially with her brothers and sisters.  She was asked to sing in numerous funeral services, with her favorite song being "How Great Thou Art".
    Bonnie is survived by her children, Jack (Masayo) Uresk, Casper, WY; daughter-in-law, Karen Uresk, Roosevelt, UT; Gary (Lois) Uresk, Kaysville, UT; Glenn (Evelyn) Uresk, Myton, UT; Wade (Patricia) Uresk, Herriman, UT; 28 grandchildren, and 58 great-grandchildren;
    She was preceded in death by her husband, John Uresk; her son, Stephen Uresk; her parents, Zachariah Jr. and Sarah; two granddaughters, Mandy Lou Uresk, Judy Thomas; three brothers, Adrian, Roy Eugene “Jack”, Cloyd;  and three sisters, Sadie, Mae, and Odean.
    Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 12:00 noon, at the Myton Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  There will be a viewing from 10:30 -11:45 a.m. Saturday at the church prior to the services.
    Burial will be in the Myton Cemetery.
    The Uresk family wishes to thank all the staff at the Barton Creek Assisted Living Facility and Utah Home Health and Hospice for all the tender loving care they provided to Bonnie.  They went above and beyond in providing for her care.
