Bonnie Ross

Bonnie Lee Frandsen Ross, age 79, of Arcadia, returned home to her loving Heavenly Father on November 5, 2015, in Arcadia, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born February 15, 1936, in Elsinore, UT, to Ida Conder and Warren Frandsen, the oldest of three children. She spent the first few years of life in Elsinore and later moved to Salt Lake City where she went to school from kindergarten to 6th grade. In 1949, they moved back to Elsinore where she completed her schooling. She was active in school activities, Primary, Sunday School, and was a member of the 4-H Club learning to can, cook, and sew. After graduating high school, she went to college and it was there she was set up on a blind date with RG Ross. They were married for time and all eternity on May 17, 1957, in the Manti LDS Temple. In 1958, they moved to Arcadia, making RG's family farm their home. They had three children, Lori, Judy, and Rick.
Bonnie was a spunky woman with a great sense of humor and a quick wit. She had a great love of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and served faithfully in the Primary and the Relief Society. She loved the temple and spent a few years as a temple worker in the Provo and Vernal Temples. She was a hard worker and spent a lot of time milking cows. She was a homemaker in every sense of the word. She kept a clean home and spent countless hours making quilts and other various projects - her hands were never idle.
She had a great love for writing. She wrote a lot of poems, short stories, and even a novel. She enjoyed putting jig-saw puzzles together and camping. She was adept at memorizing, and could recite all of the presidents of the LDS church and the United States. Her memorized stories were animatedly told to the delight of her grandchildren. She was an avid reader, and spent much time working on family history.
Bonnie will be best be remembered for the love that she gave, her loyalty, and caring. She made everyone feel special and spoke kindly of others. She was especially proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She always wanted the best for them.
She is survived by her husband, RG; daughters, Lori (Roy) Casper, Talmage; Judy (Wally) Dunsmore, Arcadia; son, Rick (Dee Anna) Ross, Lee's Summit, Missouri; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Vickie (Jay) Pehrson, Madera, CA; and a sister-in-law, Kerry Frandsen, Elsinore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Alma Joel Frandsen; great-grandson, Shawn Clyde Dunsmore.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at the Bridgeland LDS Chapel where a viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday and from 10-10:45 a.m. Saturday.
Burial will be in the Duchesne Cemetery
