Bonnie Nielsen

    Bonnie Taylor Nielsen, age 65 of Duchesne, Utah, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
    She was born January 15, 1959, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Viola Hayes and Elmo Dusty Taylor. 
    Bonnie lived in Indian Canyon where she spent the last 20 years. She loved it up there, it was quiet and she could watch the hummingbirds. Bonnie moved back to town to take care of her mother for seven years. She loved her family and was loved by many. She enjoyed helping others, experiencing life, and making a difference in the world. Bonnie was the corner-stone of the family, and will be deeply missed by so many. 
    Bonnie is survived by her husband, Rodney “Red” Nielsen; daughter, Teresa Nielsen; sons, Dustin (Amanda) Nielsen, Troy (Shantell) Nielsen; her 8 grandkids and 5 great-grandkids with two more on the way; her sister, Julie (James) Austin; brothers, Jerry Taylor, Roy Dean Taylor; and many nieces & nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Candice Ruth Nielsen.
    At her request, she was cremated and there will be no services.
